Silver Freshwater Pearl & Navajo Pearl 30"

Approximately 80 miles north of the Dominican Republic, and 100 miles southeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands lie the shoals of the Silver Bank. Surrounding the shoals, the ocean depths go from the thousands of feet deep to just 70 feet deep as an average depth across the bank. The half-moon reef extends for miles at the eastern end of the bank, and at low tide shows exposed coral heads, and has caused many shipwrecks since the days of the early explorers.
